Deb teaches Physical Education 3-4 days a week, for K-12 at Living Word Academy in Syracuse, NY. In addition, she is the race director for the Good Samaritan 5k and 10k run, which helps non-profit Christian Health Service of Syracuse in its mission to provide primary healthcare to people who have little or no health insurance in our community.
Deb is a loving wife and mom to two young men and grandmother to William. Her hobbies include playing volleyball, running, biking, hiking, paddleboarding, snowshoeing, and fishing in the Adirondacks. Deb enjoys training with friends and enjoys the beautiful outdoors any time of year.
Deb is also a wellness coach and advocate for Shakeology through Team Beach Body. "I've always said, sometimes the hardest part is getting your feet in the door when it comes to working out. I also firmly believe that your workout should be treated like an appointment with yourself, not to be broken, highly valued and seen as very important. Time management is everything when it comes to taking care of yourself. Too many excuses leave broken plans and programs in regards to wellness. I tend to be an "encourager" by design, so my life's journey has me doing just that for the young, middle and older ages. I know this is and always has been God's plan for my life. My desire is for people to be as healthy as they can be physically, emotionally, and spiritually. I'm here to help in any way that I can."
